Have you ever sat down and thought what was the true purpose and/or intent of something that seemed truly irrelevant on surface level? I have reached deep down within the recesses of my mind, searching for what POSSIBLE reason this cameo was needed. Why are the Kardashians consistently used as props in African-American culture as if they are adding some type of significant value to it? I really want to be enlightened on this, because thus far, all I can tell is that the Kardashians have reaped benefits from our culture, perpetuated things, "borrowed" things and claimed full credit as if they were the originators...I'm not a Kardashian "hater" per say, but I definitely don't identify as a fan of theirs either. I'm not mesmerized by the glamour, plastic surgery and the gross, in-depth manner in which they live their lives on camera as some kind of royal spectacle to behold. Perhaps, this was just an opportunity to use Kylie's presence to garner some of her massive fan base and gain more traction overall for the song/video. If so, then, it is what it is. I suppose that is to be expected in the entertainment industry. I just wish it didn't paint a picture of reverence for these individuals in a culture I personally feel they are more inclined to exploit than to help.

It is so important to learn and mold ourselves to be what is pleasing to self and be satisfied and confident there first and then we can expand to being in relationships and that’s when we can see our faults and cut out so many issues that we normally wouldn’t. Love has to come internally first, people get wrapped up thinking someone can fix them or save them but reality is, that’s not the God given…
